How do I place an order?
All orders are placed online through our website.
Do you do custom orders?
We do not offer customs at this time, however most of our baked goods are customisable in terms of flavour, colour and personalisation.
The date I am trying to book is not showing, can I place an order?
If you desired date is not showing, unfortunately it means we are fully booked and can not take on your order.
How far in advance do I need to place an order?
All orders have a turn around time of 3 days. However we recommend ordering in advance to secure the pick up date you are after, as we may be fully booked on short notice.
What do I do if I want to change my order?
We understand plans change. If you need to change the date or details of your order, please send us an email as soon as possible with your Order Number in the subject heading to inquiries@chichisbakehouse.com.au with your changes. We need a minimum 7 days notice for all amendments.
Do you offer refunds for orders?
No, unfortunately as the items are food products and due to the custom nature of each order, I cannot offer any refunds. I strive to deliver quality products and ensure each item being sent out is up to standard.
Are your products Halal?
Unfortunately i’m unable to offer Halal treats at this time. However I am definitely looking at adding them to the menu in the future.
What if there is a problem with my order?

Sugar Cookies:
What are sugar cookies?
Sugar cookies have a vanilla shortbread-like base and are decorated with a subtle vanilla fondant.
How long do sugar cookies last for?
Up to 4-5 weeks in their packaging.
How do I store the cookies?
In room temperature, out of direct sunlight. NOT in the fridge.
How are the cookies packaged?
Cookies are packaged in individual heat sealed bags to maintain their freshness.
My event has been postponed, can I put sugar cookies in the freezer?
Sugar cookies can be frozen however they must be frozen in their bags, preferably also in an air tight container. Once removed from the freezer allow the cookies to be thawed COMPLETELY before opening the bag or container. This ensures no condensation forms on the cookie, which can create a sticky fondant layer and is unpleasant to display.

Cakes:
How do I store my cake?
Cakes should be refrigerated until ready for consumption. Once you're ready to enjoy your cake, take it out of the fridge 30 mins before eating to ensure the buttercream is nice and soft.
How long will my cake stay fresh for?
Cakes are best consumed within 1 week of refrigeration.
How do I transport my cake?
Cakes should be transported in a well air-conditioned vehicle. To prevent damage to your cake, it is advised you keep the cake on the car floor and drive with caution. Please place your cake in the fridge as soon as possible.
Can cakes be shipped?
Unfortunately due to their delicate nature, we are unable to offer shipping on our cakes.

How do I store my cupcakes?
Cupcakes should be kept in air-tight container at room temperature, out of direct sunlight.
How long will my cupcakes stay fresh for?
Cupcakes are best consumed within 3-5 days.
How do I transport my cupcakes/cupcake bouquet?
Cupcakes should be transported in a well air-conditioned vehicle. It is advised you keep your cupcakes on the car floor and drive with caution.
Can cupcakes be shipped?
Unfortunately due to their delicate nature, we are unable to offer shipping for our cupcakes.

Brownies:
How do I store my brownies?
Brownies should be kept in air-tight container at room temperature, out of direct sunlight. Alternatively, you can keep them in the fridge if you prefer cold brownies, when refrigerated our brownies resemble a solid fudge-like texture.
How long will my brownies stay fresh for?
Brownies are best consumed within 3-5 days or up to 2 weeks in the fridge.
Can brownies be shipped?
Only our message brownies are able to be shipped as they have a solid chocolate exterior. Our custom flavour brownie bites are unable to be shipped due to their delicate nature.
